A video essay concerning the instantaneity, the logistics and excess of the real-time image as «pure arrival»
A new mode of production: «when the real moment is no longer the present moment and the only way of existing is to participate. At the speed of light. To be all present at the same time, all of us... but without rules.»
Synopsis: From the vectors and aesthetics that the technologies of online video activate - the emergence of a different media regime, a new mode of production, the rearticulation of the «spectacular», the omnipresent instant, the «reality effect» of the interface - we become witness to a new global construction of the temporal and serial “living image”: an image in movement that “exists” at the moment it is transmitted and accessed online. An overload. A global emotion falsified by the immediacy of real-time optics.
